Ceramiceanu is a creative ceramic design studio based in Timișoara, Romania.
I am Laura Ungureanu, the person behind the Ceramiceanu brand. As a graduate with a master’s degree in Ceramic Design from the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara, I am the sole creator of all the handcrafted pieces.
Working with ceramics allows me to explore endless ways to express myself, create, and communicate the moments that inspire me.
The creative process is slow, delicate, yet powerful. I love creating with the belief that beauty has the power to bring joy, shift perspectives, and transform emotions. The connection between people and nature is a recurring theme in my work, aiming to harmonize well-being, individuality, and the appreciation of the present moment.
Most of my resources and inspiration come from nature and the Japanese aesthetic, which embraces imperfections and the fleeting nature of things. This constantly reminds me that working with ceramics is a continuous journey of acceptance and the joy of creating something with my hands.
